Overview
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the Points Transfer Program ("Program") offered by Security Bank Corporation ("Issuer"). By participating in the Program, you ("Cardholder") agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
- Only Principal Credit Cardholders and Supplementary cardholders with Security Bank rewards-earning cards such as Classic and Gold Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, and World Mastercard are eligible to transfer their available and qualifying points to participating airline and hotel loyalty program member accounts.
- Only Principal and Supplementary Credit Cardholders, whose cards are valid and in good standing (i.e. card must not be delinquent, suspended or cancelled) may redeem and transfer their points to the participating partners.
Points Transfer
- Eligibility for Transfer: Points can be transferred to Security Bank’s Points Exchange partners. The Cardholder must have an active account with the receiving program.
- Transfer Time: The transfer process may take up to two business days. The Issuer is not responsible for any delays caused by third-party partners.
- Finality of Transfer: All points transfers are final and cannot be reversed once completed.
Fraud and Abuse
Any fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms may result in the forfeiture of points and termination of the cardholder's participation in the Program. The Security Bank Corporation reserves the right to take legal action if necessary.
Modifications and Termination
Security Bank reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program, including the Terms, at any time with 60 days' notice to Cardholders. Notice may be given through the Issuer's website, email, and SMS.
Liability
Security Bank assumes no responsibility for rewards points transferred from a cardholder’s account to any frequent flyer program account or hotel rewards program account or for the actions of any participating airline or hotel in connection with its frequent flyer program or hotel rewards program.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas. Security Bank Corporation is regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (https://www.bsp.gov.ph).
